A Tale of Two Seats

We´ve arrived safely in Antigua and had to rush to a computer to check our email, fantasy baseball stats, etc. NOT. Actually, it´s pretty early here and there isn´t much open. And we wanted to let our folks know we are alive, well, and happy.

I´d like to introduce Roni! She has a great story to tell. Roni, if you would please...
It all started when we noticed that Adam´s seat for our flight to Guatemala City was in first class. Being the gentleman that he is, Adam offered to give me his premiere seat and take my lowly coach seat. Actually, he reminded me that i once said it is my dream to sit in first class on an international flight...still, we wanted to sit next to each other.
To make a long story short, the girl sitting next to me in coach wanted her boyfriend - who had a first class seat - to sit next to her...so we graciously gave her our coach seat and took her b-friend´s spot. The next thing we knew, Adam and i were being fed cheese, sliced roast beef and fruit and toasting our drinks to our luck!

Off to explore the city now...adios!

10 Day Count Down

T- minus 10 days to go!

I'm still at work, and will be done with that in 8 days, that's crazy too! But a bit more fun and worth while is the fun little fact that I'm off to Guatemala with Roni in 10 days.

I still need to secure a backpack, buy shoes, get digi-cam stuff, prep my toiletries, pack, and tie-up any loose ends before I go.

Amazing, I'll be there for an entire month. I'm truly excited and I really have no idea of what to expect.

I can live with that.
